 We are a class of 10 children and 5 adults. We all love getting creative, dancing and having fun! Keep an eye on our socials to see regular updates.

In our first topic of 2025; "People who help us", Dosbarth Aur explored who helps us in the community and at home. This included learning about our family trees, the police, medical professionals, firefighters and vets! We even had a nurse come to visit us and show us all things medical. We have also been trying hard at our literacy and numeracy skills too, with daily sessions exploring various interventions. We can't wait to see what our next topic has in store for us!

 

 

In our second topic of 2025 "Festivals and Celebrations", we explored different beliefs from around the world and prepared for Christmas. We made reindeer food for our Christmas Fayre and had a gift exchange in class, complete with home made wrapping paper. Our Christmas Concert was a hit, with Doggyland's "Jingle Bells" being our anthem! We can't wait to see what 2026 brings. Blwyddyn Newydd Dda from Dosbarth Aur!

 

 

For our first topic of 2026, we learned about "Myths and Legends". We had a story from around the world each week, from the Lochness Monster, Gingerbread Man, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Elephant and the Squirrel and The Red and White Dragon. We loved learning about different stories and their characters! We practised our reading and loved our outdoor learning slots too - we are experts on the scooters. We are making our adults so proud of us with our amazing learning. I wonder what is up next for Dosbarth Aur?
